River City Hawks Futbol Club
Alfred Ramirez is the founder of the River City Hawks Futbol Club and the Director of
Coaching and Player Development. Prior to starting the R.C. Hawks in the summer of
2003, Alfred trained and coached several teams in and around the San Antonio
Metropolitan area.

A native of San Antonio, Alfred holds several certifications: Director of Coaching
Diploma,
Advanced National Diploma, National Diploma, National Youth Diploma,
Advanced Regional Diploma, State Diploma, Regional Goalkeeping Diploma, State
Goalkeeping Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America
(NSCAA). Alfred also holds a National "D" license from the United States Soccer
Federation (USSF).

Alfred's main job at R.C. Hawks Futbol Club is to oversee the development of all
players and trainers while maintaining and upholding a high standard of quality
training in order to provide the absolute best soccer club in and around the San
Antonio Metropolitan area.

Jeff, a native of San Antonio, has over 10 years of soccer training experience. Jeff's
training philosophy is one that develops the skills of each individual player in order that
they can achieve success at each level play,whether it is club, high school or college.
This philosophy has proven its success as seen by the results of the teams he has
trained and is currently training as well as the individuals who have gone on to
collegiate play.

Jeff holds a National "D" license from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and
is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Joe Carranza
Joe is a native of South Texas, with over 15yrs of soccer experience.  He has been
fortunate enough while serving in the military to play in Germany, Korea, Japan, and
Iraq at different competitive levels.  He states that despite the language barriers of
the countries he has played in, the love and passion of the player nationally and
internationally remains the same: it is to represent and bring honor to those you play
for.  His training philosophy is to share the knowledge he has learned from his
playing experiences on the field and coaching by focusing on issues that instill a
winning spirit and by concentrating on issues that are important on the field, such as,
self confidence, hard work and determination and also to help hinder outside
distracters.  Joe holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “E” license and is
also a licensed referee.
